(Chattanooga, TN) The Chattanooga Member Qualifier teed off today at Black Creek Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The field consisted of thirteen class A PGA members competing for three qualifying spots for the 2008 Chattanooga Open Nationwide event on October 16-19, 2008. The conditions were perfect with mild temperatures and the course being in absolutely perfect condition.
Loren Personett of McCabe Golf Links clinched the first qualifying spot with a (-4 under par) 68. Audie Johnson from Lebanon Golf & Country Club and Kelvin Burgin from Bear Trace @ Cumberland Mountain both shot even par 72’s to capture the final two spots.
